Jamestown Friends Meeting is continually looking beyond itself for ways to serve God by serving our fellow human beings. We search for justice in an unjust world; we seek to feed, clothe, and shelter those who have a need; we respond to specific needs of missions, both locally and
globally. We want to ‘give the cup of cold water,’ but we seek to minister to one another’s spirit as well.

In our meeting for worship we
- Gather quietly
- Listen for God’s word in prayer,
song, prepared message, and
open worship
- Include everyone
- Greet those around us at the rise
of worship

We recognize “that of God” in all persons, regardless of age, religious background, race, education, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
